日本文化演習 V （現代文化演習） 2007年度（春学期月２）

日本のマンガ・アニメ

【目標】
本演習では、日本のマンガ・アニメを、その表現方法をめぐる批評的言説に着目して検討する。
【授業内容】
現代の日本マンガ・アニメは非常に多様な広がりを見せており、論じることが難しくなったと言われている。そこで、現代の日本で行われているマンガ論の中から代表的な文献を講読しながら、マンガを巡る諸問題を考察していく。
補足： 今学期は先学期から継続して受講する学生諸君がいるので、演習メンバーと相談の結果、以下のように内容を修正しました。
(1) 日本マンガの発展：「マンガ」の変貌
(2) マンガの描線：線の質がもたらす表現の差異
(3) マンガと言葉：吹き出しの機能
(4) マンガの擬音語と擬態語：絵の一部としてのオノマトペ
(5) 少女マンガのコマ構成：空間構成の特質
(6) 日本マンガの特徴： 日本人の造形的伝統とマンガ
【評価方法】
授業参加：50％、期末レポート：50％

Programme: Seminar on Japanese Modern Culture

Objective: This seminar examines how Japanese comics (Manga) and animation films (Anime) have been described in critical discourses, concentrating on the way of drawing and depiction.
Description: It is often said that we find it difficult to argue about modern Japanese comics and animations, for they have become really diverse and various. We will thus read and discuss about several articles concerning about the following two topics, which are in current issue among Japanese critics.
